| | | Back gardens In case anyone's interested, here is a pic of my back garden. It's about 130 feet long, the trees on the left are apple, apple, lilac and on the right a laburnum and a forsythia. Tis a bit scsruffy at the mo (well it is January) but I intend to give it a good makeover this year.
Anyone else? |

| | | Re: Back gardens Thats nice Robin, I have to confess I am a little jealous!
I'm not posting any images of our garden on here for a few years, this winter I've replaced all the terrible trendy 'architectural' plants with baby natives... it'll be quite a while before it's blooming!

| | | Re: Back gardens Robin youve got a lovely garden to start with as jez asked what plans do you have ?. My one thing id definately do before anything else is if you are going to keep the pallet style fencing then paint it green to blend in with your greenery that way the fence dont stand out, the reason I painted all mine was because id been watching a lot of gardening progs on sky with alan titchmarsh and he always painted fences green to blend in., because brown fences stand out too much , So beings one side of my garden is fenced and 80 foot long we had a lot of painting to do , now we dont realize weve got a 6 foot fence behind the shrubs and trees etc. Im sure you will enjoy yourself this year with your garden and the great potential you have . sheila
