| | | Buying wildflower seeds on-line Just wondered if any of you have done it....and if so, where do you recommend I buy from? Is it better value/quality than Garden Centres?
Any comments welcome, even negative ones and sites to avoid etc.
Thanks,
Tracey.x

Thanks,
Tracey.x | Of course being a new meadsman and such, I buy all my seed from wildflower specialists who have been up and running for a quarter century! And yes far better value than garden centres, as seeds are very limited and likey to be cooked in green houses!! I'm very astute to WAB's wishes on not promoting profitable companies, so i'll do as I always do and give you a PM!
Whoops saying that I just gave a heads to a book on Amazon. So google Naturescape. Sorry I'm a bad man!!!

| | | Re: Buying wildflower seeds on-line Do have a look at the Flora Locale website(charity). On there is a suppliers list of suppliers who have signed up to the Flora Locale voluntary code of practice, promising to only provide buyers with genuine, english wildflower seed. Some even offer native, local wildflower seed. There is also lots of info about wildflwoer seed, where to buy it, how to sow it, how to manage wildflwoer meadows. |
