| | | Re: Plans for next year? I'd quite like to build a larger wood pile, one that the small frogs can hide in and maybe even hunt in  I'll have to position it so that it can rot down (nowhere too dry).
A wood pile is the one thing that "him indoors" really objects to, so it will have to be very neat and discrete

my wood pile is at the back of my flower bed next to the fence out of sight.  he will never know its there   while he at work one day it could just happen to appear. |

| | | Re: Plans for next year? My wood pile is only small, it covers an area of concrete that houses a man hole cover. It has bushes on a couple of sides so it isn't noticeable and occasionally gets added too which no one seems to notice
