I've been pruning back the grapevine today so there should be some lovely fat grapes for the birds (and us!) come the autumn. |

| | | Re: Plans for next year? The sap starts rising in spring and so you need to prune while the wood is dormant, ie, before spring. As spring seems to get earlier every year I would suggest doing your pruning before February (but then again it is probably warmer here than where you are). |
