| | Forget Slugs  SLUGS in a well balanced are no real problem they have predators, I refer you to the real villains
WOODLICE! nothing seems to eat them (ok some spiders) they do damage to seedlings and flower buds then blame the slug
I dust them with cheap talc (slugs to)wich is the only organic way i know any other remedys |

| | | In the main, woodlice eat dead plant material. They may do some damage to seedlings, but this is not their main food.
As well as spiders, woodlice are eaten by centipedes, shrews, carabid beetles, toads and Little Owls (at least).

We have an allotment and the woodlice are all over the place, I picked a ripe beefsteak tomato yesterday and it must had been taken over by woodlice loads fell out and crawled out (looking mighty guilty). And they eat my carrots and potatoes. I don't put anything on them to kill them I just brush them off and try to eat whats left, but they are very annoying creatures.
