Such a lovely fragrance  | Hello cheryl  I planted 2 pks first week in october over an arch with honeysuckle the pink coloured ones are out . I also planted 2 more packs in november In between the clematis but they are only 3 foot ish high I did plant different months so I get a sucession of flowers throughout this season . I also planted the last pack in february they are only 8 inches high,  I call it trial and error  Cor dont they smell so nice espeically early mornings and evenings ? sheila

| | | Re: sweet peas blooming Sweet peas are one of my most favourite flowers, they always remind me of my gran, she also loved them and used to have loads growing around her garden, the dead heading on the older varieties can be a bit of a chore but worth it to keep them going longer, last year I grew some hanging ones and had them in a couple of baskets I put on top of old chimneys which I had painted with the same white paint that we had done the outside walls with and they looked very nice, |

I don't normally have flowers indoors I prefer to see them au natural, but I have on occasion had a few Sweet Peas they look very nice with Asparagus fern, the down side is the dozens of little black bugs that appear from out of their flowers although I bet someone who loves bugs will perhaps say that's the best thing about them
