| | | Re: Plant ID I looked up Cotoneaster horizontalis in my RHS gardeners encyclopedia and it says it is deciduous, I know that my ordinary cotoneasters haven't got any leaves yet.
Looks like Lonicera nitida to me too.
The viola looks like Viola tricolour, (common name) Hearts ease.

The viola looks like Viola tricolour, (common name) Hearts ease. | Agree with Lonicera nitida, but though similar it isn't the species Viola tricolor, but the cultivated hybrid V.x wittrockiana, which does include genes from that, but also other species including the central Asian V. altaica which can be seen wild in Kazakhstan. |
