| | | Re: too fat for my bird feeder. Our fat wood pigeons remind me of my youth, the sound they make in the morning is so nostalgic. I love to watch them waddle about pecking amongst the plants and Ivy. They don't seem to be a problem, often just collecting fallen seed from the ground. They do become quite romantic in the spring, thrashing about in the trees, quite comical to watch.
When the berries form on the ivy in the trees they are great at balancing to eat them, although they do some rather large poos on my car. |
