| | my old garden when i yoused to live in chelmsford
thought you all would like to see my old garden when i lived in chelmsford, lived there from the age of 6 years old,it was mum and dads house,i took it over in 1974 and moved out in 2005,so that house and garden was my life for all those years, dont you think me brave moving out in2005 to start a new life in march, the two lighter photoes was how the garden was befor i got my hands on it,too regimental for me,i soon changed it as you can see,i like height in a garden it was too flat for me,i love the jungle look, nothing is too wild just love it,i am now attacking this garden, have done alot in two years, again there was no height,i like big plants never too big for me,i hate having to prune things but as you know if you dont they get leggy, always had a pond in fact i had two in chelmsford,my hubby dug the main pond wich was about 12ftx8ft and 4ft deep, then i dug a smaller pond futher away with a winding stream running from one to the other, looked good even though i say it my self,i planted it all up with ivys, srubs and trees, plants in the pond, and lights all round it,it was nice to sit by the pond in the evening summer time, listning to the frogs croaking, and crickits clicking this is why i find it hard not having frogs here.
I brought my three boys up in that house and had many pets,i always said i would never leave chelmsford untill mum and dad were not here any more,i kept my word. |

Have to say when we eventually move from our house, it's the garden I will miss most, packed full of lovely memories!! |

Are these the missing photos, Naturelover? If you view your photos and click on the link at the bottom of the page you should be able to copy and paste them across. I hope this helps.
They are lovely photos, too. |

| | | Re: my old garden when i yoused to live in chelmsford That certainly was a beautiful garden you had to leave naturelover - it must have been a terrible wrench. But I have seen photo's of your present garden and how much work you have put into it, it has already filled out. That is a lovely garden too. I hope the local frogs discover you soon, you certainly have green fingers . | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
