| | | Dusk in the Garden Watching a sizeable flock of Swallows going to roost in a field of Sweetcorn at the bottom of the garden at dusk, not a cloud in the sky. A Robin singing from a neighbour’s garden, a Wren giving an alarm call also Blackbird. Probably a cat around. 2 Magpie calling, a distant Song Thrush singing. 100's of Lesser Blackbacks flying north to roost. 2 Mallards Flew overhead, a Corn Bunting sings for a while out in the field. A few Rooks fly over. 2 Hawker Dragonflies go to roost in the Oak at the bottom of the garden along with a few Red Admirals. A Pipistrelle briefly feeding. And a beautiful (nearly full) moon rises in the south. Good to be alive isnt it. Cheers
Also Willow Warbler and Coal Tit in Garden today.

| | | Re: Dusk in the Garden Must admit that it's probably my favorite time to be out in the open. Having said that, very early morning, just as its becoming light, is fantastic too. Yes, its a beautiful world and its great to be alive. |
