I tried and it did grow but fell foul of poor communication ie thr lioness pruned it hard , goodbye graft

Hello for all you buddleija fans nows the time to take semi ripe cuttings from your bushes and plant for more buddleija next year, I always take cuttings dip them in hormone rooting powder and stick them in the ground give a good water for a few weeks they will soon take. I usually take the cuttings at about 7 to 10 inches long. shei.

I just rip off a bit, trim it down to two leaves and stick it in the ground. More often than not it takes.
I think I will try grafting next year. Interesting to hear that you tried it,Nightshade, and that it worked. | | | |
