| | | Slugs Has anyone else noticed, theres alot more slugs about than usual?
My back garden is covered in them, all shapes, colours and sizes, when ever there`s a bit of rain. Never noticed it like this before.
They also tend to like my Sons guinea pig hutch, feeding in their cereal bowl, the other day, I counted 5 feasting away. |

| | | Re: Slugs Hi, Just made a comment on another thread regarding the abundance of Slugs and Snails this year. Certainly Slugs which have decimated my vegetable patch. Out of 18 Courgette plants not one got thru.

| | Re: Slugs Maybe thats the answer - put cereal down as bait, then go out collecting the so-and-so's? |

| | | Re: Slugs I must say before we moved we used to get loads of slugs and now dont see that many at all.
But one morning i went to take the post to the man who used to live here and when i went in his garden i could not believe it It was like a great big snail race! i have never seen so many snails together at any one time.

| | | Re: Slugs It's been a wet year if not the wettest on record probably why you have never seen so many. When we first moved in to our house 7years back it was like something out of the book Jeremy Fisher 'Slugs in Bathroom' "LOVELY". None since though but the snails have chomped my wild salsify all up. Oh well. |
