| | | Re: Slugs Well I've also got some stonking big ones here, as has my nextdoor neighbour who actually asked me if I'd seen any of the monsters - perhaps she's breeding them herself and sending them over to me!
I do know one thing, they're waaaaay too big for my hedgie to munch on, I think it's scared of them lol! |

| | | Re: Slugs We have acquired a stray cat which we feed occasionaly if it leaves the food
huge slugs race across the patio to clean the dish
They are mainly the Brown variety bur they have been joined recently by a
few with a rosette marking and the leopard slugs which seem as keen to eat smaller
slugs as eat the cat food

| | | Re: Slugs Limax flavus is the culprit for nicking cat-food. A big yellow thing with a keel down its back. I've seen one eating a dead woodlouse. It does not seem to be a pest in gardens, although it can be a pest in commercial greenhouses. It has been known to open the cat-flap, pop in for an evening meal, and then pop out again. All you see in the morning is a slime-trail and possibly and empty cat-bowl. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
