| | Birds learn from parents We have watched our blackbirds teaching their young how to hunt for food on the lawn - now we see them teaching hygiene!
Mr Blackbird bathes in the dog's drinking bowl every day...
Now he brings the young'un for his bath
He soon gets the hang of it
While Dad goes off to the grown ups' pool with Mum
These blackbirds are just a few feet from the kitchen door. No bins or 'scopes needed! This is my kind of bird watching and so intimate |
