| | | Re: What in your Garden Great, the honeysuckle will attract lots of moths for the bats, graet plants amazing how much they actually attract |

| | | Re: What in your Garden Over the last few years I have totally planted for, moths, butterflies, bee's and aphid eating insects then leave the seed heads for the birds. I have 2 mini ponds plus a bird box, feeding stations, log pile, stone pile and insect hotel. I think the planting has the biggest effect on the garden and attracts alsorts of amazing things - even in such a tiny garden. |

| | | Re: What in your Garden I have two nest boxes, one had blue tits earlier this year... I also have two hanging feeding stations, a bird table, ground feeder and two bird baths placed around the garden.
I have planted ivy for shelter but this is fairly small at the moment but hopefully it will be better next year and I have planted two bushes which produce good berries in the autumn. I have also grown from seed, bedding/basket plants for the moths and butterflies.
All this and my garden area is fairly small (mostly paved unfortunately ) |

| | | Re: What in your Garden I built a small wildlife pond a couple of weeks ago in our garden. We have lots of Ivy covering part of the garden which the Hedgehogs use to hide in, also a plastic sheeting for the slow worms. A huge Bay tree which needs cutting back, but we're reluctant to as it has been used this year by Blackbirds for nesting. Loads of feeders hanging under the bushes for the many birds we have visit. I love to keep the garden as wildlife friendly as possible. Lovely to see so much visit our's I can spend hours watching... |

| | | Re: What in your Garden i try and cater for all animals in my garden, we have 2 nest boxes one out the back witch is a blue tit box, one out the front witch is a Robin box, niver have been used yet but only but the robin box was only put up this season and the tit box was moved to a new site this year as it was'nt being used in the old site.
I have feeders out the front and back, the front garden has seed spread on the ground for the ground feeding birds, plus 2 seed feeders and a fat ball feeder, and the occational home made hanging suet thing. Out the back is a feeding station, witch mostly consists of 3 suet bloc feeders a hanging table for dried millworms a there a seed try and water bowl as well.
The starlings use the back garden and the small birds and ground freeders the front, it seems a good system.
I also have a hedgehog box, witch is used at least 2 times a week.
it was'nt till about 9 months ago that we put the feeders up, and the hog box has only been there since end of march. The Tit box has been up for around 2 years but never been used.
