This is the rough, grassy, mossy, brambly bit by the side of the bottom end of the drive. Mown by Rabbits with a little help from me.

The tallish tree second from the right is the young Ash mentioned in the second picture (yesterday). To the left of centre is another Ash which was almost completely ring-barked by Rabbits a few years ago, but it seems to have survived. The hedge on the left is a mixture of early Blackthorn (going over) and late Blackthorn (coming into flower now), plus a few bits of Hawthorn.

You can just see my gate on the right.

I don't want to set up in competition with henrya but I just had to post this one taken in my garden today . . . . magical

They only last a few weeks so I have to make the most of it.

Mine is going to look pretty tame after those! Took down some too-large trees last year and put up a nice new fence though and added several shrubs which are beginning to take off. Bird feeders just visible at the bottom!
