Jenny | In my garden I grow it in the muddy bank of the pond - if you look at the first photo I posted in this thread on page 1, you can see the rhubarb-like leaves it puts out in summer in the middle of the shot. The plant in the picture is about 10 years old, grown from a single small corm. The leaves turn a pleasing dark red in the autumn. It will grow with its feet in water, if you have some soil/mud at the edge of the pond that you can set the corm into. |

| | | Re: WAB Members' Garden Photos Here's a busy corner from our small garden with an "trained" apple just completing its show.
These tulips look great in the evening sun - but they are tricky photography targets |

| | | Re: WAB Members' Garden Photos Here's an unusual 'aerial' photo I took of one end of my garden last Autumn - 'aerial' in the sense that I took it (at my neighbour's suggestion) from my house roof whilst installing a new TV aerial
For those who are following my 'Kingfisher Diary' forum thread, the Kingfisher nest site is about 100 metres beyond the trees running along the meadow boundary in the distance.

| | | Re: WAB Members' Garden Photos I love looking at pictures of other peoples gardens!
Here are a couple of pictures of my big pond. I've been lucky enough to see wild mallard, heron, and otter.....though the fish don't appreciate their visits. |

| | | Re: WAB Members' Garden Photos Well we have cleaned the pond out , refilled it, just got to connect the filter and add the Koi..Finally got all the picket fencing up Now all we have to do is finish building the back wall. Then I can put in my wildlife pond and Bog Garden and put up my Bug Hotel then finally do the seating area where we can enjoy all our hard work
Then we have to concrete the middle section of the garden and build outside kennel/shed for the dogs. (The above area is a dog free zone )
And prepare a section for our herb garden.
