The hardest part of it all was the very last house in the foreground... that took me two days of wondering and not wanting to finish it... it had been good fun till the finish was in sight... I think I might have been a little scarred of ruining it in the last stretch..
Anyways thank for the comments ChrissyMarrie, appreciated.

Once you have the copy you just resurface the plate and start again... infarct that seems to be the answer....cavanized plate is next on the list of things to get... and slightly larger than the ones you can buy... A4 is a good size to work on..
Thanks for the comments Andestine...and good to see you again.
Martin | As well said elsewhere: likewise
You gave me lots more food for thought there, as always
I've had more problems with the applied coating than with the underface though. I've found tearing to be a problem, along with rippling into waves ahead of the cutting tool, and cracking. Something that will stick fast to the under-surface and yet be capable of taking a fine line is what's needed, of course. The answer to both our problems with this media must be either out there, or to be found by further experimentation.
Thanks for all the tips. I'll try working on metal soon...
Looking forward to seeing the results of your experiments
Cheers,
Andestine | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
