From the small Wrinkledpeach to the .... well for me it is a Bubble bursting with an infant earth crust forming.. till it hit some thing hard and Burst...What a downer!!, to others it might be some thing else.

Tools used... in PSE 7.0
Quick selection tool/ Invert/ Plastic wrap/ Liquify/ Sphrize/ Despecle/ Difference clouds/ Glowing edges/ Graquelure/ Saturation/Temp/Tint/Dark and light tones and the most important one...an open mind to see what comes and let the mind play as you go along...mind you all the tools used but not in that order and some used again and again...
So go on have a go, the results of what you can get are boundless as are the styles you can make.

That does look very organic and a bit unsettling  I do like the colours though and the fragmented edge... |
