The Art of Peter Scott
Seeing the recent threads about book reviews and the BBC4 Timeshift program that mentioned the work of Peter Scott, I thought I would recommend “The Art of Peter Scott – Images from a lifetime”, published by WWT in 2008.
It includes examples of his art from childhood on. Not only his ‘flying geese’ images but other beauties such as the Oleander Hawk Moth, and a page of the Bill patterns her kept of the Bewick swans at Slimbridge. It’s about £30 but you might find it cheaper online (I got mine at Barnes as a birthday present to myself last year.
It isn't a biography, but has brief introductions from his wife and Keith Shackleton.
