I've been using animated gifs in Powerpoint to illustrate some songs for the Nursery at school - like Five Green & Speckled Frogs |

If you PM me with your email address I'll send you a larger version (maybe with the frog jumping off a lily pad!).
If you also work with Primary School age children using computers, have a look at 'Squeak', in particular 'Squeakland': squeakland : home of squeak etoys
Using Squeak, children will easily be able to draw and animate frogs for themselves - including a croak if the frog bumps into something!
It's an extraordinary learning tool for children and was devised by a team headed by Alan Kay, the inventor of the windowing interfaces that we see on all our computers - Mac as well as PCs. The Squeak team is also supported by Seymour Papert, a child psychologist who devised the outdated 'Logo' educational language.

| | | Re: Animated Dragonfly Thank you - I will. That site looks great. Last school year I worked with a number of Special needs children doing digital art. That would be great to use too. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
