| | | Lost Bridge...scratch board.
I think I have lost my way a little with this one, a few things not quite right but I like the trees and a few other parts of it, shows that you should work it out first and not make it up as you go along....

| | | Re: Lost Bridge...scratch board. Ah, what a lovely bridge, and the tree in the foreground is terrific.
Only because you have said you got a little lost...
I am wondering if the tree behind might seem to come forward because it is lighter and the bull rushes in the foreground possibly seem to receed because they are darker?
I really like the composition and it works well as a small image - put it up somewhere you have to stand back from it, it would be a shame to hide it away. |

| | | Re: Lost Bridge...scratch board. Well I like it! And I wish I could do it half as well! I can now see tho why there would need to be a little planning and dividing the picture components into sections - its tricky isn't it - you have to make the image but it has to recede into perspective - so how much board to remove in each area?? Mmm - and thats where I would get lost ........ I still like it

Ohh well try again on something else.
Thanks again for the comments and take care

Pauline | Thanks Pauline and quite so, as the failure of the bridge shows I got the perspective totally wrong there as in so many things in my work, but the trees I am happy with. Thanks again for your comments Pauline and as always they are appreciated.
Take care.
