Seagulls are not everyones cup of tea....This painting is for someone special and the painting means something special to them so before it goes to its home I thought i would pop it in here, thanks.

| | | Re: Seagulls It's lovely, Annmaria, and I love the quote!
Where I live the place can be overrun with them, and some see them as pests, but I like them and I see a wonderful grace in their flight, and how they guide their offspring when they first take to the skies is really wonderful to see.
Mind you the noise would drive you mad when they are nesting......and unfortunately not too far from my bedroom window |

| | | Re: Seagulls Seagulls Ugh!
Dressed in my finery for a night out with my daughters, both wearing black coats with me walking in the middle, I was divebombed by these creatures.
I don't know what they'd been eating but the 'bombs' really hurt. It was just like being caught in a hailstone/grit storm.....and not a speck splashed on my daughters. Talk about precision bombing!
I ended up looking like a snowman to the hilarity of the strangers passing by.
To add insult to injury, my son bought me a vid of Alfred Hitchcocks The Birds. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
