I was hoping to post this painting alongside a sighting of these beautiful winter visitors but so far they have evaded me completely!
These were the ones I saw a few winters ago in my home town.......maybe it'll bring me luck in getting a sighting for this year now!   |

Very nice, fingers crossed that with the amount of Waxwings in the UK at the moment you should get some close to you soon, keep your eye on the bird news websites. |

Hiya Ruth, your art is beautiful , I have just been going through them in the Gallery , I think the whoopers is my fave . Never seen a Wax wing , they apparently landed in Blackburn as the local council has lined the highways with the Rowan bushes ( I think )
