Let's hope these children carry on with such work - but I fear that as they progess through the school system, they will not be encouraged to do so, and will stop drawing. Reminds me of the quotation from Howard Ikemoto - “When my daughter was about seven years old, she asked me one day what I did at work. I told her I worked at the college - that my job was to teach people how to draw. She stared at me, incredulous, and said, "You mean they forget?"”

| | | Re: Childrens Art Fantastic - theres a lot of talent there - love that big green beetle and the butterfly is gorgeous - they are all excellent......... there is something so good about the way kids see things - its a pity we lose that as we grow up.....

Pauline | I agree. Children see things as they actually are whereas adults tend to see things as they would like them to be seen!
