| | | Pyrography AKA wood-burning
A few years ago my hubby bought me a beginners pyrography kit but it soon got put in a cupboard with the promise of doing more later.....
Later has come and this weekend I got it out and had a play and I'm quite pleased with the results.

| | | Re: Pyrography That's lovely! I had a go at that once when I was at school. I loved the smell of the burning wood .

| | | Re: Pyrography They are great, Claire. Very subtle - I like that effect. Do you work from pictures, or a stencil or something?

| | | Re: Pyrography Thanks for the replies.
Some, like the bird, I use tracing paper to transfer the design. Others, like the acorns, a sketch a design freehand onto the wood first.
