Now how about a complete set of British Bumblebees

| | | Re: Bird on a tea cup ! Hi ya Annmaria...
Long time no see, another nice piece you have done.
A couple of questions if you have the time....
What medium are you using?
Are you painting the pieces in acrylics? then varnishing them.
Now the rude one .....if possible could we have a closer view of the bird so we can see the detail a little clearer, as from the distance you have taken the photograph I feel we are not seeing the full extent of the work you do do.
The detail on the wing tips, highlight in the eye and the bird itself deserves a closer look.
It must be harder to show a 3D object than one I can scan.
Great work and skill as usual Annmaria.

Oh beggar it did not work...if you have any suggestions feel free | Try a little Sloe Whisky....make it the same way as the Gin mind you you will have to wait a little too long for it ..
Yep!! I would do the latter and go for the "anything".
I am on dial up...that is stress, if an image is too big I have to give up and move on....too long a wait at times, still it is better than nothing I guess. Only another four years and we have been told they will give us a Broadband link ... ....believe it when it happens...
A few good frosts and they will be ready for picking.....sloes that is!!!
Don't fret pet.....it works.
Take care Annmarie, I am off to my pit sleep calls.
See you

One of the many things I am not, an Ornithologist is in that list I have to look up most of the birds I have taken as my knowledge of them is next to non existant....if I had to say it would be a Tit ( Yellow and Black head ) but it is the white above its eye that is getting to me...
But the colours could be different in the photo!!!
I appreciate the work that goes into it, the doing of it. I can not do the same so I look at other peoples and enjoy it, if not a Tit or a Chat, you will have to tell me as I do not know then .
Martin now. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
