I've been thinking about this & remembered that I'd seen living Willow sculptures at The London Wetland Centre, Barnes ... it might be worth giving them a ring to see if they can offer any practical advice ..
I've included the link for you ... London - Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT)
Bye for now ..
Kev ..

Afraid I'll have to give Mr. Trout a miss this time round - we're already lined up for The Scorpions, Wishbone Ash, Uriah Heep, & Motorhead in the next few weeks. Got to put a stop on things at some point
Jez - promise - I won't hijack your thread again.

If you can hold of a copy of "Collins Guide to Tree Planting & Cultivation" by H.L.Edlin 1970 ISBN 0 00 219159 8
I promise you that it'll be money well spent and although it won't tell you much about branch weaving etc., it'll tell you everything you need to know about growing trees.
Herbert Edlin wrote many books about woodland subjects, crafts and trees in general. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
