Never actually tried pen & ink .. though I have seen some which I admired wistfully ...

It was just fun after I started with the eye the rest just went wild.
May be I Will try a bird and feathers....
No reason why the technique will not work as well.......  we will see.

The black is not so bad , what about a gradual lightening grey.
Apart from that , you are a pain...... now I have to add pen and ink to my ever growing list of things I want to try ... big thank you

Many thanks for your comments Annmaria, that eye has worked pretty well 
Go and get a pen and ink!! give it a shot, the way I use acrylic paints....its a darn site cheaper
