The light is gorgeous behind the bird, and the texture of its feathers looks like velvet.
I went out and bought a half price sketch kit - it contained very interesting pencils and things.
Can you tell me which materials you used for this artwork? E.g what sort of pencils etc?

Julie  | It has done Julie, they add that sparkle and they are drawn so well that they make the image come truly to life. Expression is spot on, well from the photos I have seen of them it portrays the bird so well  .
