This one was done a short time ago , using pencil and charcoal for the darker parts..just didnt feel the need to add any colour..

That's really good, I love your attention to detail.
Not at all like the other artwork I've seen, but equally impressive, in its own way.

I'd tend to agree Julie .. it doesn't need any colour .. it "stands" just as it is ..
Why don't you cross-link it ? .. I'm sure our friends in the "Insect" section would be more than interested ..
I'm beginning to suspect that you're actually a fully-trained Illustrator ...
