Cross stitch owl.

After a 'chat' with AnnMarie, I decided that I would post this cross stitch embroidery that I completed several years ago. I did it from a kit, no way could I plan and execute something this complex! I hope this is acceptable as an art form amongst so many talented artists.

Thats lovely Lyn..Ive done some cross stitch over the yrs..knowing this would have taken a little while..I use to draw my own designs out on graph paper..as some subjects are hard to find...Well done ..got any more to show..

Thanks for your kind comments. Yes, it did take some time to complete, about the equivalent of working 24/7 for a fortnight...you can put that in to hours if you want!

I do have a couple more which I will photograph in a few days. I may try to get a close up of the stitches so that those of you who don't know the technique can have an idea of what is involved.
