It was probably rejected from the Gallery because it isn't a shot of an actual bird annmaria but it is lovely.

Hi Ron, thank you , but its not this Gallery .
No my Kingfishers did not make the grade for an art competition I entered. I entered the ' National Exhibition of Wild Life Art ' google it , it is very impressive...... maybe my work should be done in another medium to achieve more accuracy , will keep trying, beats irioning .
I was shown a painting of two kingfishers which was also rejected , it was very very good , imo it was every bit as good as the kingfisher painting that won an award
Actually if you do look at the kingfisher painting that won it again imo looks very very similar to a much earlier painting by Martyn Riddley, if you look on his web site you will see what I mean !!!!
