"Countryside Gems" Barn Owls


I painted this a few years ago when i was living in Dumfries and Galloway, i often saw Barn Owls and wanted the painting to reflect the countryside of the area.

Painted in acrylics.

That reminds me Mr Wildmanofthewoods, if I get accepted into the NEWA thing ( big if ) I would like to make you a bird, but not the cuckoo ! I did not like to say before but I think they are a nasty birdie

WOW Annmaria that would be amazing & you will get accepted what you do is unique, a show like that should be screaming out for talent like what you have.....
As for the Cuckoo i can except your thoughts on them, they do have strange habits but it is nature and they are really beautiful birds-if ever you get a chance to see one up close
