What do you mean "almost cute" ? when you have a Bat in your hand ,it studies you with a regard that is ancient and wise,it is a mammal that breast feeds its young, it flies which makes it unique almost cute indeed

LOL Why is it when I come on this site I end up laughing out loud, good job my family do not hear me they would think I am losing the plot.
We have two bats flying over the garden right now , not sure where they come from. For sure they have never been in our bat box that is used by a blue tit who sings ( makes a noise ) in the beech hedge then bang on five to eight each night he flies up and crawls in the bat house.
Makes me wonder if birds actually have quite a lot of routine that to us seems random.

I have cleaned out loads of Batboxes and they are usually filled with Bluetit nests or Hornets
