P.S did a bird about five years ago but I did do a reasonable head about age 14/15 everyone was supposed to be doing a bowl of clay and I did not listen got carried away, nothing new )

No i didn't go to art school i'm totally self taught, i take pride in that, you should too.......i'm will most likely upset alot of people but i think art schools can brainwash artist's into thinking the same direction, so there's a danger of losing individuality

no i should go straight to bed really, but had trouble getting to sleep the last couple of nights so didn't get up untill 6.00pm yesterday so not tired just now, this is the problem with working these hours i'm now caught in a vicious circle.

My thinking also on art school ( or we are sour grapes ) College would have shown us how to do things correctly ( more professional ) although we would have lost our own style 'uniqueness' ,mine are certainly unique
Anyway I have my stand and my HERO ( lovely Dad ) has drilled a hole for me, so I am all set

Hi Wildman have attached the owl to stand but I think this thread has run its course, also if I put final result on line there will not be much point putting it in the NEWA, if any one wants a pic I will send via e-mail ( i think my public profile does messages etc )
