| | | Re: owl sculpture in progress hi annmaria, this is great, you've been busy .... this is dynamic and i like that, i try sometimes to add that to my paintings but as you know it makes the job 10x more difficult, you seem to be pulling it off. Its good to see it in its early stages we can see how it evolves, i'm sure people don't realise how much work goes in to creating a piece of art like this, thanks for sharing & i'll look forward to seeing more soon. AL. | Thanky kindly, I pinched the idea of work in progress from you, how is your painting ? Who will finish first I wonder , I seem to keep finding more problems with this one.
Making things dynamic is the tricky bit but worth it when it works.

Annmaria | hi Annmaria, i've just got stuck, & it was going so well. The trouble is, i've put myself under alot of pressure, i wish to complete 3 paintings by the Summer & its Spring outside. Couldn't help it had to go out the sun was shining...Actually really glad i went out got a photo of a Roe deer & spent a couple of hours with 2 Adders . I heard you scream. The thing is they're not as dangerous as people think i was about ten inches from them photographing them with my macro lens and they weren't one bit bothered, quite a spiritual moment, oh painting and sculpture threads-we're on sorry

It sort of wriggled up right then slid into the wall, the second snake dropped the thatch almost landing on me , we did a bizare little dance together, I was trying not to stand on it. The hotel staff were more concerned, it was green but not the nasty bright green. From then on I made a lot of noise approaching the door area , but now I am told snakes can not hear ( me scream ) is that true?
Wont be going back to Lombok, apart from the snakes they don't use loo roll Enougth o make any girl scream .
Cheers

Annmaria | oops sorry Annmaria's mum
I want to try and get some into the National Exhibition Of Wildlife Art, its the largest open exhibition of wildlife art outside London, i'm going to try my hardest it'll be really good if i can one in.
You should consider putting your work in too, if you haven't already.
They allow 3d work also. National Exhibition Of Wildlife Art. Check it out i know they allow a maximum of three paintings for consideration.

Thanks I will check it out but I think I need at least another couple of years practice before I dare do anything so brave. Good luck to you, I will look forward to seeing which one they pick.

Annmaria | Your doing that typical artist thing, i bet you're your own worst critic, there's nothing wrong with that, it helps us keep improving. As far as standard is concerned you have nothing to worry about from what i've seen, your work will also be seen as refreshing, as i doubt there will be many 3d works. Go for it, you have nothing to lose.
