| | | Mini chrysanthemums and tulips... Here's a couple that i was able to do this week while staying indoors and recovering from my cold....
Lots of colour on these two..might put them up around the house to cheer me up on dull and wet days..
Hope you like them...
Julie

| | | Re: Mini chrysanthemums and tulips... Thanx Mike..the idea was to paint this one as quick as possible not paying to much attention to detail plus using a lot more water than usual..

jaki | Thanx jaki..getting away with using as many different vibrant colours is the name of the game with me...You shouldnt give up having ago yourself..sometimes the harder you try at something the more difficult it will become..being a little more care free with the brush finding your own style letting the colours flow into each other with no hard and fast rules this can sometimes produce the most satifying pieces of work...but most of all have fun and enjoy yourself...So give it ago you might even surprise yourself...

| | | Re: Mini chrysanthemums and tulips... Thanks Julie, I am one of those horrible people who have to have a more precise painting. When I try to produce a painting a la julie all I end up with are blobs of colour. If I can find a picture of lillies I once did I will try to post it.
