Henry Moore

Hi all, I do not like to bash other artist but right now I am watching Henry Moore's work , I do not dislike them but I can not see the greatness..what am I missing, may be had he sculpted a bird I would be happy. Actually some of his views are profound and I can relate to them so perhaps I am being to critical. Going on again

It"s all a matter of taste Annmaria like painting.I think like me you are more into realism.
But modern art sells very well.Not for me though i"m afraid,just can"t understand all the hype
about it.

Yes I do prefer things to be as real as possible ( not so easy with air drying clay, very difficult to get the detail to hold, but at AGE 44 I can be bothered learning to fire things in a kiln ) Right now I am trying to do a little owl and I prefer the sculptors to be doing some thing natural but eating a mouse might be a little to realistic so I have been looking for an appropriate moth,I have decided on a Privet Moth, I think.
