| | | Re: learning to draw I was absolutely hopeless at drawing and I still am but I got a little book called 'How to Draw absolutely anything". I really enjoyed working through it. I got about halfway and then pressure of work blah blah got in the way and I stopped. I'm sure proper arty people may think the book awful but I must have improved at the time because I can't produce the same little drawings now. Everyone told me that all I needed to do was practice every day and I'm sure that's right. I didn't have enough confidence to do more than copy the pics in the book. Good luck. I hope you do better than me ( it wouldn't be difficult). |

| | | Re: learning to draw Hi Trampas,
I've just found this old thread saved on my computer and felt like asking you if we convinced you that you can do it! If someone wonders why this isn't a PM, well, an answer that you can draw better than you expected will be encouraging for anyone else who is wondering about their ability.
I'm guessing that:
Either you did indeed find you can draw,
Or life got in the way and you didn't have time.
Because the third option, that you seriously gave it a go, but couldn't manage it, is highly improbable, except as a temporary state to work through! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
