ahhhhhhhhh their cute,i like the babe, mouth wide open ready for mum or dad,they are sweet little birds arnt they,you have captured their sweetness in your painting.

This is my absoute fav as far Mike.

It reminds me of work as every year we look forward to the return of swallows! we record there arrival to our old warehouse which is now a Farmshop the swallows nest out back high up above the shutters and flythey into the shop when the doors are open the customers love it as much as the workers and they're the main talking point! I know these are house Martins but the capture of the parents to the nest is so like to our place and once yet again you have captured that scene just so!!! A big well done

Hi,

Nice painting, but doom and gloom as usual, we seem to have been well down in house martin and swift numbers this year, can't say about swallows, I've yet to ID one amongst the swifts, that is, I haven't seen a red flash go past, but they do move very quickly.
