Annmaria | I keep the colour washes light allowing each layer to dry.. and keep the colours bright...and use the whiteness of the paper to show off highlights..this should bring tha delicate light you mentioned into your painting..

Annmaria | Oh no! Annmaria, don't give up!  You just need to find your own 'voice' that's all. I think it's really sad when people give up art because they compare themselves to someone else and decide they 'can't do it' because their work doesn't look like the person they perceive to be 'better' than them.

Julie | I've no idea but I would be tempted to send a disc with your paintings on and a short introductory letter to any of the big pottery produces - Royal Doulton springs to mind and see what they say - its worth a try - someone at their end might say - 'oh look at this lovely work; it would look gorgeous on china' and there you'll go........... and I can have a nice tea set
