Soz Julie, only just spied this one... it's lovely, 'really' lovely! and like T2 says it also reminds me of William Morris a wee bit
I think you should certainly get those pencils and brushes out again and capture some of the autumn before it's gone!!

A great painting Julie.
I prefer this than one in its full glory, background works very well for the composition.

This is really good, Julie - I like it very much.
You've managed to keep some of the sunflower's beauty, and you've alluded to it's former glory by choosing warm colours against the cold, dead, winter-like background. I love all the shapes and shadows.
