| | Suggestion Ok heres an idea I'd like to run past the site admins, wouldn't it be a nice idea to have an exhibition of paintings backed by wild about britain, showing paintings by forum posters. Personally i'd be proud as punch to see tots's paintings on display and some of the other paintings i've seen on here are amazing and should be on display somewhere. One thing I have noticed is that artists never seem to really believe how good their own paintings are and vastly underestimate themselves and their paintings.
PS, love ya loads tots |

| | | Re: Suggestion this would have to be something for StuDH to decide upon but, unless I'm mistaken, we have only 2 or 3 members who have ever posted threads specifically on art. I think Stu would need to see a significantly greater level of interest before organising art events or even devoting a WAB Gallery to art.

| | | Re: Suggestion It's something that the charity has been considering for a while for the photography side of things as there are so many stunning images in the Gallery that would look outstanding on big prints in a Gallery exhibition. Naturally, wildlife art could accompany some the above.
The biggest barrier is probbaly funding, as it would cost fair bit to print, mount and show the images around the UK. One I've finished doing most of the current development work on the website, I intend to do almost nothing but fundraising to build the charity up so hopefully we'll be able to put something like this together soon.
