Upon Winged Dreams Shall Play

I like to write poetry whenever i have an inspirational or quiet moment, i hope you like this one which i wrote a while back.


Upon winged dreams shall play
Warm nights shall come to stay
For fae the light behest
Upon the mist and flowers it rests
Dancing in circles of blue
As bells and harps chime through
Faces of light come to rest
Within toad stools they lie their heads
To rise again when the blue moon awakens

My fiancee loves Fairies and the Fae circle dance within the Bluebells was an idea that made me write the poem. i.e. Dancing in circles of blue, As bells and harps chime through.

Pagan_Dave are you aware of the works of R.J stewart & Orion Foxwood? I find there lessons In Faery Lore hard going as individual but love there insight! I would love to practise but seem to struggle. Can you suggest anything?

Hi Jez

To be honest i haven't come across those two authors and i will have to check out their work.

With regards to the style of my poetry writing, i believe it is down to imagination with words and also a scene/scenario played out in my mind while i'm writing it; personally i think poetry has nothing to do with intelligence or how skilled you are at writing, if you can express yourself from within then the magic will flow
