One of my friends started painting a few years back, she used to watch some painting programme on sky(can't remember what is was called) she painted this really good sunflower picture and then never did any more which was a shame cause she was quite good.
Do you use oil paints?

(its Tots 1968/ Mrs Morpheus/ Amanda) thank you for the kind comments and advice. I had seen your picture but did not realise it was you that had done it. It is lovely, I was telling morpheus about it the other day. I love how you have got the light source coming in so clearly - I find that really difficult, and the detail on the robin, wood and leaves is brilliant. How come you have changed from oils to water colour? Is it a time thing?
