This is a watercolour of a kingfisher by my mum. 
It's taken from one of my photos 
I think I've been outdone again.

I hope your mum makes lots of money out of her paintings, that is amazing. Don't know what I'm more jealous of - you getting such a cracking photo or your mum being able to paint like that! I live in hope of getting a photo one day. |

I think they are both fantstic. The photo has a nice moodiness about it which I really like, even moreso than a razor sharp image
And the painting is lovely too
