Sparrow Hawk Keeps taking my Pigeons???? Help!

My kids keep chickens and tumbler pigeons in our back garden....
The tumblers breed during the summer, last year we had 16 birds.... Then the Sparrow Hawk started taking them.... Yesterday we lost another and are now down to just 9 very scared birds....
We don't want to keep them shut in all the time as that is simply wrong... When flying high and tumbling they look wonderful and the girls are very proud of them... When flying high they can easily out manouvre the hawk but he takes them when they are feeding or congregating around their loft entrance. He even took one on our patio whilst I was sitting there and having a cup of tea.

Is there anything that can be done to disuade this Sparrow Hawk and make him hunt elsewhere????
