Hi,
I'm looking into a complete career change into wildlife conservation. I graduated with a degree in French in 2007 and have never really known what I wanted to do, so have been stuck in a succession of admin jobs.
I've now realised that I need to be based outside of an office environment/not sitting in front of a computer all day and would like to work in wildlife rehabilitation/conservation.
I'm currently volunteering for a Butterfly Exhibition and have done some conservation work in my local area. I'm looking into taking a foundation degree in science and then further study in zoology.
The problem is I know what area I want to work in but i don't know what actual job I want to do at the end of it.
My main motivations in a career are the pursuit of knowledge and also providing help in some way (I thought maybe a career in animal rehabilitation or maybe working as a research assistant?).
I guess what I'd like to know are what kind of jobs I could do in this area and how easy they are to come by.
Sorry for the vagueness of my question, I'm just feeling a bit lost!
Thanks
