Books
Hello,

I've just been accepted on to a Countryside Management course at Merrist wood in September. This is a whole new career change for me, so was hoping to get as much information about what I will be learning..

Are there any good books available to be reading up on, before I start the course?

Managing Habitats for Conservation by William J. Sutherland and David A. Hill

ISBN 978-0-521-44776-8

I would recomend you get this it offers a great introduction to habitat management for conservation.

At what level are you talking about, ND, FdSc or degree.

If its ND then you will not need any books, the other two levels should provide you with reading lists.
